Through the Wilderness Empty Through the Wilderness

So the story goes, we were on a plane, but the motor caught on fire and we had a crash-landing. The plane crashed into a forest with no signs of civilization for miles. We all have to survive on our own in the forest until we're rescued.

My sight was blurred. I was sprawled on the ground, half-conscious. I slowly began to open my eyes and saw a canopy of green. All I could remember was the plane crashing and everyone panicking. But... where was I?

I tried to get up, flailing at first. But I managed to get on my feet and help the man lift the wing of the plane off of the woman.

I took another glance at the wrecked plane and gasped in horror. There were burnt, decaying bodies under the plane, some even reduced to skeletons!
